Found in 2023 by Cody Padlo, a single blip was discovered coming back from the Thomas Hume. The barge sits upright in 115ft of water and measures in at 115ft by 45ft by 15ft.

The steel box appears to have been gutted before she sank, with heavy interior cross beams and columns still standing, and two 5ft diameter drums laying inside. A circular cutout on deck appears to have once held a small crane arm.

The construction is entirely riveted, putting a creation date likely before 1950, when welding became more popular.

The barge’s official history has yet to be uncovered, with the only marking being the numbers “135” on the rear starboard side of the vessel.
